Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

Q: How do I create an account?

A: Download the SCOPE: Neuro IR app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Open the app and tap "Create Account" to register with your email address and select your role (Fellow, Resident, Attending Interventionalist, or Director).

Q: What information do I need to register?

A: You'll need your email address, name, role, institution, department, and if you're a fellow or resident, your training year (e.g., PGY-1, Fellowship Year 1).

Using the App

Q: How do I submit a case?

A: Tap the "+" button on the Cases screen, fill in the case details including endovascular procedure type, access route, devices used, date, and patient identifier, then select whether you want to perform a self-evaluation and/or submit for faculty evaluation.

Q: What is the difference between self-evaluation and faculty evaluation?

A: Self-evaluation allows fellows and residents to assess their own performance during endovascular procedures. Faculty evaluation is completed by attending interventionalists to provide structured feedback on trainee performance.

Q: Can I edit an evaluation after submitting it?

A: Once an evaluation is submitted, it cannot be edited. However, you can view completed evaluations at any time.
